Percolator Letterpress Tour of Los Angeles

  Hello Paper lovers! Last week we had a great time visiting the Los Angeles Printer's Fair. The museum had fun demonstrations on every kind of press you can imagine as well as local print shops selling their lovely goods. I was happy to see a friendly face at Krank Press. Elinor is a local letterpress printer with roots in Texas. She has wonderful produce calendars and fun letterpress cards and tags in her shop. We also visited some local paper stores and had a great time stocking up on their beautiful selection of letterpress cards and other fun things. If you are in LA, visit Sugar Paper in Santa Monica and Sweet Paper in La Jolla www.sugarpaper.com   and   www.sweet-paper.com It was a great trip and we also fit Disneyland, Aziz Ansari at the Orpheum,  and plenty of beach time into the paper vacation. LA's hottest months are in the fall, it seems, so it is perfect for swimming in the chilly Pacific. So many other options in that busy city. Hope to explore some more soon.
